Kieran Goss & Annie Kinsella: "The Song Your Heart Is Singing... Songs and Stories from Ireland"

“The Song Your Heart Is Singing” – New Album Release Tour

Kieran Goss and Annie Kinsella have long been counted among the finest voices of the Irish singer‑songwriter scene. Ever since their joint debut album Oh, The Starlings—which earned them sold‑out concert halls across Ireland—the duo has secured a firm place in their homeland’s songwriting elite. Their fanbase in Germany continues to grow as well, drawn not only to their moving songs and beautifully blended voices, but also to the warm, humorous stories and unmistakable Irish charm that make every concert a special experience.

Kieran Goss’s path to music was anything but straightforward. He studied law in Belfast and worked as a lawyer for two years before the political turmoil of the 1980s led him to the United States. There, he made a living as a musician and, upon returning to Europe, decided once and for all to leave the legal profession behind and devote himself entirely to music. He spent two years singing on the streets of Cologne, where he also learned to speak excellent German—something that allows audiences to fully appreciate his songs, stories, and heartfelt reflections.

Almost every one of his songs finds its way quietly yet powerfully into the listener’s heart. It’s that rare feeling of recognizing yourself and your own thoughts within the music. And despite all the poetic depth, Goss remains a man of humor: stories from life on the road, spontaneous anecdotes, and a touch of self‑irony are part of every performance, along with the unmistakable joy he takes in sharing his life and music with the audience.

Together with Annie Kinsella, he now presents his new album “The Song Your Heart Is Singing”—an evening filled with warmth, delicate melodies, and the art of Irish storytelling.
